Client Portal Is Now Available On Every Plan
TacDesk's Client Portal — the live window your customers get into their own site coverage, reports and evidence — is now included on every plan, free tier and up.

Getting a client to trust the invoice you send them, or the incident report you file after a rough night, is one of the harder parts of running a security firm. It gets a lot easier when they don't have to trust you at all — because they can see the work for themselves.
That's what the Client Portal does. And from today, it's included on every TacDesk plan, TacFree included.
What The Client Portal Actually Is
A read-only view your client logs into, showing them what's happening on their site in near-real time. Specifically:
- Live guard positions — who's on the site right now, where they clocked in from, and how long they've been on shift.
- Verified clock-in records — GPS-tagged, time-stamped, backed by device data. No arguments about whether someone was actually there.
- Reports as they come in — incident, patrol and check-call reports show up in the portal the moment they're filed.
- Photos and evidence — anything a guard captures on shift is attached to the record and accessible to the client without you having to email it.
- A clean interface — designed for the site manager or facilities lead who isn't going to sit through a training session.
Why We've Moved It Down To Every Tier
Client Portal used to sit on the higher tiers only. That was a mistake.
Every operator we've spoken to, from two-guard mobile response firms up to hundred-guard national contractors, has clients asking for portal access. A small dealership expects the same visibility as a Canary Wharf estate — and rightly so. Pretending the feature was only useful once you'd grown into a bigger plan was working directly against why we built TacFree in the first place.
If proper tools are meant to be available to the firms that need them most, "proper tools" has to include the one that ends most client-side disputes before they start.
What This Means For You
Existing customers: it's already switched on. No migration, no admin steps, no upgrade required. Log in and you'll find the Client Portal ready to go — just add your first client and share the link.
TacFree users: the portal is included at no cost, on the same 6-guard free plan you already have. Onboarding a client is a two-minute job.
New signups: the portal is on from day one, on every tier, on every plan.
The Bigger Point
Security is a trust business, and the fastest way to build trust with a client is to stop making them ask. Every time a facilities manager has to ring you for an update, or wait for you to email over a report, that's friction working against the relationship.
Client Portal isn't a feature we want sitting behind a paywall. It's how modern security operations show their work — and it should be there from the very first shift, whether you're paying us £0 a month or £799.
