Compliance
Know every licence is valid before the client asks.
SIA licence tracking, on every plan including TacFree. Add a guard's licence number and TacDesk looks it up on the SIA public register. It then re-checks your guards' licences against the register automatically, working through the list every day. If the register shows a licence as expired or revoked, or the name does not match, your admin gets an email and managers get a push notification. Reminders go to the guard and to you from 90 days before expiry, stepping up in the last 30 days.
The Compliance module, on every paid plan. Scores your business against all seven ACS criteria on a readiness dashboard, with a traffic-light status for each one so you can see what needs work before an assessor does. It produces an audit report as a PDF, and keeps BS 7858 vetting, the training matrix and certifications in the same place.
The readiness dashboard shows your last calculated score. SIA licence tracking is free; the Compliance module is not part of TacFree.
Rota, payroll and invoices
Easy rostering, payroll and invoices, from the same shifts.
Build the rota across your sites once. TacDesk checks each assignment as you make it: a guard double-booked across two sites, or someone whose SIA licence has expired or been revoked. You see the problem when you create it, not on the night, and guards see their shifts on their phone as soon as they are assigned.
Invoices from the shifts that were worked. Pick a client and a date range and TacDesk builds the invoice from their confirmed and completed shifts, with the hours settled against each guard's GPS clock-in and clock-out using the grace and rounding rules you set. Export it as a PDF, and unpaid invoices are flagged as overdue for you.
Payroll without retyping hours. Connect Xero and TacDesk turns your guards' clock records into weekly timesheets in Xero payroll, as drafts for whoever runs payroll to check and approve.

Control room
A live control room for events and mobile patrols.
Whether it is a team spread across an event or officers driving between patrols, every guard on shift appears on one map, plotted from their phone's GPS, not where the rota said they would be at eight o'clock.
Pin an incident on the map and you see who is free, who is on a shout and where everyone is, so you send the right guard. Or switch on auto-dispatch and TacBot attaches the nearest free mobile-patrol officers (needs Mobile Response). No ringing round, and no three people on one job while another gets missed.
The desk stays with the incident while it runs.

Voice reports
Quick, easy voice to reports.
Your guard holds a button on the app's home screen and describes what happened in their own words, for up to two minutes. No form and no typing. With no signal, the recording saves to the phone and uploads when it is back.
At the end of the shift TacDesk turns the recordings into a draft incident report or shift summary. The guard steps through it, fills in anything TacDesk could not pin down, confirms where they were and signs it. Nothing is guessed for them.
Voice to Report is included on TacStarter, TacPro and TacCommand. It is not part of TacFree.
