TacDesk
Dispatcher Mode

Run a control room, not a group chat

Most security software tells you what went wrong once the shift is over. Dispatcher Mode puts a live desk in the middle of it — every guard on one map, and the nearest one on the incident the moment it's logged.

How it works

What the desk actually does on a busy night

Everyone on one map

Every guard on shift, live, where they actually are. Not where the rota said they'd be at eight o'clock this morning.

An incident lands

A guard logs it from their phone and it hits the desk immediately — with the location, the detail and the time already attached.

You attach the nearest guard

You can see who's closest and who's free, so you send them. No ringing round. No three guards turning up to the same thing while another gets missed.

You work it in real time

The desk stays with the incident while it runs, and every move is already logged for the report you'd otherwise write from memory tomorrow.

Customer story

TacDesk's dispatcher mode has revolutionised how we do our work. I can see every guard on the map and exactly where they are, and the second an incident is logged I can attach the nearest guard to it and keep working directly with the event controllers in real time. Nothing slips through and nobody is guessing where anyone is.

At Cambridge Pride, and at every event we've put it on since, people have been absolutely blown away. It's clearly built by people who understand security rather than just software, and it's made us faster and sharper on the ground. We're not going back.

Who it's for

You need a desk when guessing stops working

  • Events, where a hundred things happen in four hours
  • Multi-site nights where nobody can see the whole picture at once
  • Any contract where the client expects a response time, not an apology
  • The moment your rota is bigger than one person's memory

A live dispatch desk is normally something you buy from an enterprise vendor, at enterprise prices, on a twelve-month term. Dispatcher Mode is part of TacDesk, priced like the rest of it, month to month. See which plan includes it.
