What the desk actually does on a busy night
Everyone on one map
Every guard who's clocked in, plotted from their phone's GPS, with how long ago each position came in. Not where the rota said they'd be at eight o'clock this morning.
An incident lands
Click the map where it's happening and the incident is pinned there, with the time, in the open incidents list everyone on the desk is watching.
You send the right guard
You can see who's available, who's already on a shout and where everyone is on the map, so you pick who goes. No ringing round. No three guards turning up to the same thing while another gets missed. Or switch on auto-dispatch and TacBot attaches the nearest available mobile-patrol officers itself (needs Mobile Response), noting who it sent and how far away they were.
You work it as it runs
The desk stays with the incident while it runs. Add a note as things change and the guards on it get it as a push. Who was attached, when, and every note with its time stay on the incident for the report afterwards.
