New Feature: Custom Dashboards — Build Your Own Management View
TacDesk now lets you build custom dashboards with drag-and-drop widgets — choose from 39 widgets including charts, analytics, and compliance alerts.

Your Dashboard, Your Way
Every security company manager has different priorities. Some focus on attendance compliance. Others track incident volumes. Some need financial oversight front and centre. Until now, everyone got the same default dashboard.
Custom Dashboards let you build exactly the view you need, with the metrics that matter to your role.
How It Works
Click the customise button on your management dashboard to enter edit mode. From there:
- Add widgets — browse 39 available widgets and add the ones you want
- Arrange layout — drag and drop widgets to position them where you want
- Resize — adjust width and height independently for each widget
- Save — your layout persists across sessions

- Late clock-in alerts

- SIA licence expiry warnings

- Top clients by revenue

- Incident trends over time
- Clock-in compliance rates

Different Dashboards for Different Roles
An operations manager might want a dashboard dominated by guard locations, patrol compliance, and incident alerts. A finance director might want revenue, margins, and cost tracking front and centre. A compliance officer might focus on licence expiries, training status, and audit-ready metrics.
Each user creates their own dashboard layout, so everyone sees what’s relevant to their responsibilities.
Beta Launch
Custom Dashboards are launching in beta on TacDesk Enterprise plans. We’ll be adding more widgets and refinements based on feedback over the coming weeks.
