New Feature: Dispatcher Mode — Live Guard Tracking with Incident Timeline
TacDesk’s new Dispatcher Mode gives control room operators a real-time map of all guards with a live incident timeline for rapid response coordination.

Real-Time Operational Awareness
Security control rooms need to see everything happening across their operation in real time. Which guards are on site? Where exactly are they? What incidents have occurred in the last hour? Dispatcher Mode brings all of this into a single, purpose-built view.
What Dispatcher Mode Shows
Live Guard Map
A real-time map displays the current position of every clocked-in guard, updated as they move between checkpoints and locations. Each guard is represented by a marker showing their name, current site assignment, and how long they’ve been on shift.
At a glance, dispatchers can identify which guards are nearest to an incident location, which sites have active coverage, and whether any guards appear to be stationary for unusual periods.
Incident Timeline
A chronological feed shows events as they happen — incident reports filed, check calls completed or missed, checkpoint scans, clock-in and clock-out events. The timeline updates in real time, giving dispatchers immediate awareness of developing situations.
Events are colour-coded by type and severity, so urgent incidents stand out from routine operational events.

From the dispatcher view, operators can:
- View any guard’s full shift timeline
- Access incident reports as they’re filed
- See patrol progress for any site
- Identify the nearest available guard to a location
